MyEngine 1.2 DEBUG (06.04.2011)Download

  • The average fuel consumption per 100 km is shown after driving more than 200 m
  • The average fuel consumption per 100 km and the average speed are now calculated without counting stops (parking)
  • Selecting values for display in any field — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcoSkiK1hs0
  • Warning about the danger of using the program while driving
  • Refuel window improved
  • Separate refuel button added
  • Data saved every 5 s
  • Full-featured “Minimize” button added
  • Exit confirmation added
  • Program autostart can be enabled/disabled in settings
  • Added saving of parameters: driving time, distance travelled, fuel consumed. A “Reset trip parameters” button was added for clearing them.
  • Added a test option to account for fuel cut-off while coasting.
Cut-off condition (logical AND): protocol flag 11.5 is 0, throttle is closed, speed > 0.
These parameters were experimentally chosen for a Toyota Cresta with a 2JZ-GE VVTi (3.0 L, AT) engine whose stock cruise display shows instant and average fuel consumption. On this car the fuel cut-off operates under the above conditions in gears 2, 3 and 4. It is assumed that flag 11.5 indicates whether fuel is injected (1) or not (0). Extra conditions were introduced to filter out some “false zero states”, for example just after engine start and during warm-up. The protocol is still being studied and discussed on the forum.
To see a fuel cut-off, display the “Instant fuel consumption per 100 km” parameter; when cut-off is active it becomes 0.0.
